Social

Aside from academics and philanthropy work, our chapter also holds several social events every quarter—just for fun! We have exchanges and dinners with other organizations on campus (like fraternities and sports teams) as well as date parties, semi-formal, and formal events!

Exchanges

Every quarter, our chapter plans four to five exchanges with different on-campus organizations. Each exchange has a unique theme such as Risky Business, Decades, White Lies, and Dynamic Duos! Exchanges are a great way to meet new people, get more connected with your sisters, and have fun after a long week of classes!

Semi-Formals and Date Parties

In fall and spring quarters, our chapter hosts a semi-formal event at a venue around SLO! Kappa Kappa Gamma provides transportation, and members are welcome to bring whomever they like! These events are a great opportunity to dress up with your sisters, as they usually have fun themes such as Masquerade Ball, Y2K, and Costume Party!

Sapphire Ball

Our chapter closes each winter quarter with Sapphire Ball, which is our formal event! Our sisters and their dates get dressed to impress and head to a beautiful venue in San Luis Obispo to dance the night away and take lots of cute pictures.

Supporter's Weekend

Every year Kappas invite their supporters to come to San Luis Obispo and enjoy a fun-filled weekend! With an open house at the start of the weekend, families have the chance to meet other members and supporters, and learn more about our chapter. Kappa plans a few activities throughout the weekend for Kappas and their families to enjoy. It's so much fun to be able to spend time with our sisters and meet all of their supporters!
